Job Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned Sampling & Merchandising Head to lead the sampling operations and strategy within our tiles division. This role is pivotal in ensuring timely and cost-effective development of tile samples that meet both design intent and market demands. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in the tiles or building materials sector, with strong coordination, planning, and team management skills.

Job Profile:

• Sampling policy finalization
• Approval of sampling
• Coordination with plan team for timely update of sample
• Make process for new sample and approval of the sample as per policy
• Monthly sample cost sheet and other report analysis and presentation to management
• Planning NDP sample process
• Day to day team and sample update list
• Planning and update for sample kit, catalogue, and technical panel, as per requirement

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Ceramic Engineering, Interior Design, Marketing, or related field
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in the tiles, ceramics, or building materials industry
• Solid understanding of tile production processes, finishes, and technical specifications
• Strong analytical skills for costing, budgeting, and data-driven decision-making
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems like Business Central and design tools
• Excellent team leadership, interdepartmental coordination, and vendor management skills
• Strong communication skills to liaise with teams, customers, and external partners
