Job description:

Placement Coordinator cum Assistant Professor is responsible for dual role of Teaching and Placements which includes Training & Placements of Students, Industry Relations, teaching courses, conducting research, mentoring students and contributing to departmental activities. They develop and deliver engaging lectures, develop course materials, and evaluate student performance. They also conduct original research, publish their findings, and present at conferences. Additionally, they advise students, participate in departmental committees, and contribute to the university's mission.

Placement Responsibilities:

  • Industry Relations: Building and maintaining relationships with companies and recruiters to facilitate placements.
  • Placement Drives: Organizing and coordinating campus recruitment drives, interviews, and job fairs.
  • Career Preparation: Preparing students for placements through workshops on resume building, interview skills, and aptitude tests.
  • Placement Data Management: Maintaining student records, tracking placement statistics, and analyzing placement trends.
  • Promoting Career Counselling: Organizing guest speaker sessions with industry professionals and alumni.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Developing and implementing innovative Training & Placement ideas and Techniques.
  • Taking Lectures for Subjects of Management/ Engineering/ LAW.
  • Staying up-to-date on current trends and advancements.
  • Engaging with industry professionals and experts.
  • Contributing to the university's mission and values.
  • Adhering to ethical standards and professional conduct.
