Role Purpose
To perform off-site engineering validation and quality assurance of mobile network rollout activities by conducting systematic technical acceptance and end-to-end (E2E) quality checks. The role that all delivered sites meet contractual, technical, and regulatory standards before final acceptance, while continuously driving automation and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Acceptance (TA):

Documentation & Data Review

Review acceptance protocols, test reports, measurement logs, and checklists for completeness, accuracy, and traceability.

Cross-verify deliverables against contractual and Telefónica-specified technical requirements.

Validate consistency between on-site execution data and system records (e.g. as-built, BoQ, test results).

Photo & Video Validation
Assess site photo/video evidence (before/after installation, defect evidence, installation certification).

Verify image metadata (timestamps, location, labelling) for authenticity and alignment with documented work.

Defect Management
Log, classify, and track defects through closure using established RCA and corrective action workflows.

Monitor SLA adherence and support proactive resolution of pending site approvals.

Release & Reporting
Prepare and issue site acceptance reports and recommendations for approval or rework.

Update acceptance status in Telefónica tools (e.g. setting status values, Work Info Types).

Support periodic acceptance KPIs and performance dashboards.

• E2E Quality Checks:

Document & Design Validation
Conduct quality review of planning documents (site designs, drawings, statics, permits).

Ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety codes, and operator standards.

Requirements & Risk Analysis
Compare design and execution plans with network operator guidelines and regulatory norms.

Identify risks in structural design, permitting, or installation that may affect quality or acceptance timelines.

Quality Approval & Reporting
Generate structured reports summarizing review findings and recommendations for implementation release.

Support continuous process improvement through lessons learned and defect trend analysis.

• Process Automation & Continuous Improvement

Contribute to automation initiatives for technical acceptance and E2E quality checks (e.g. AI-based photo validation, automated checklist verification, or data analytics dashboards).

Identify opportunities to optimize workflows and reduce manual review effort over contract duration.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5+ & 8+ years of telecom infrastructure experience (RAN, MW, transmission, or site build quality).
• Strong understanding of mobile network rollout lifecycle and acceptance standards.
• Proficient in reviewing site documentation, test reports, and digital evidence.
• Familiarity with digital acceptance tools, dashboards, or automated QA systems.
• Experience with telecom operator acceptance processes (preferably Telefónica, Vodafone, or similar).
