Data Engineer

The Opportunity

This is your chance to be part of a visionary team, working on cutting-edge data engineering projects that power decision-making and growth. You'll design and build scalable data pipelines, work with modern data technologies, and ensure robust, high-quality data solutions for real-world applications.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain
    data engineering pipelines and data lakes
  • Collaborate with product owners and developers to refine requirements and deliver scalable infrastructure
  • Build robust data architectures to support analytics and business intelligence
  • Ensure high-quality, maintainable code with strong testing practices
  • Enhance automation, CI/CD, and delivery processes within data workflows

What We're Looking For

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 3–6 years of experience
    in software development with Python
  • 3–6 years of experience
    in Airflow (or similar ETL technologies)
  • Strong background with
    Redshift (or similar data warehouses)
  • Hands-on experience with
    Spark
    (PySpark or Scala)
  • Knowledge of performance optimisation techniques for web and backend services
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is a plus
  • Familiarity with PHP or Go is a plus
  • Agile development and CI/CD (Jenkins) experience
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Bonus: Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Azure) and exposure to machine learning/data science
