Job Title: Accountant

Location: Patparganj Industrial Area, Delhi

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage financial records, follow up on pending payments, and support daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and committed to maintaining financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Follow-up & Collections

  • Contact clients/vendors via phone and email regarding pending invoices and payments
  • Maintain a tracker for outstanding dues and follow-up actions
  • Escalate unresolved payment issues to management

Record-Keeping & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
  • Organize and file invoices, receipts, and payment confirmations
  • Ensure proper documentation is available for audits and compliance

Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Post journal entries and reconcile accounts
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities

Tax & Compliance Support

  • Assist in preparing GST filings, TDS returns, and other statutory reports
  • Coordinate with external auditors and consultants as needed

Process Improvement

  • Recommend improvements to financial workflows and systems
  • Support initiatives related to digital record-keeping and automation

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, MS Excel)
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
