Job Title: Chef – Indian Cuisine (Breakfast & All-Day Menu)
Location: Vrindavan Eco Retreat, Khanpur, Vadodara
Shift Timing: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
About the Role
Vrindavan Eco Retreat is looking for a skilled and reliable Chef experienced in Indian cuisine, especially breakfast items such as dosa, sandwiches, poha, upma, parathas, and light meals. The ideal candidate should be passionate about cooking, maintain high hygiene standards, and ensure consistent food quality for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian breakfast dishes (dosa, sandwiches, poha, upma, etc.).
- Manage daily kitchen operations and maintain cleanliness.
- Prepare lunch/snacks following resort standards.
- Ensure timely food preparation for guest orders.
- Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and inform management for requirements.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene guidelines.
- Present dishes attractively and ensure consistent taste.
- Work closely with management for menu planning and improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef / Cook in Indian cuisine.
- Ability to prepare breakfast items efficiently.
- Good understanding of hygiene and kitchen safety standards.
- Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work independently.
- Candidates from nearby areas (Vadodara/Khanpur) preferred.
