Job Description – Hardware & Networking Engineer

**Job Title:** Hardware & Networking Engineer

**Department:** IT / Technical Support

**Location:** - Karegaon Near Ranjangaon MIDC

**Reports To:** Admin Incharge / Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hardware & Networking Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware systems, networks, and peripherals. The candidate will ensure smooth IT operations, network security, and minimal downtime for business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

· Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CCTV, desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.

· Monitor and manage LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

· Perform regular system and network health checks, backups, and updates.

· Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, antivirus, and data protection measures.

· Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, networking, and connectivity issues.

· Manage installation and maintenance of structured cabling and network infrastructure.

· Maintain asset records for IT hardware and software.

· Stay updated with the latest hardware and networking technologies.

Required Skills & Competencies:

· Knowledge of CCTV, computer hardware, peripherals, and networking equipment.

· Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and network protocols.

· Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and network security tools.

· Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware/software/network issues quickly.

· Knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems and server environments.

· Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.

· Minimum 1–3 years of experience in hardware & networking support.
