QA/QC Engineer

1. Quality Assurance (QA):

• Develop and implement project-specific Quality Assurance plans and procedures.
• Ensure all work complies with company standards, project specifications, drawings, and relevant codes.
• Conduct internal audits to verify adherence to quality standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and contractors regarding quality matters.

2. Quality Control (QC):

• Inspect and monitor construction activities (civil, structural, finishing, MEP as applicable).
• Review and approve material tests, third-party reports, and inspection reports.
• Perform site inspections and address non-conformance issues.
• Verify workmanship and material quality before approval.

3. Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documents such as ITPs, checklists, NCRs, MIRs, WIRs, and method statements.
• Maintain daily inspection reports and update quality records.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing for audits and client verification.

4. Testing & Verification:

• Monitor laboratory tests (concrete, soil, steel, aggregates, etc.) as per project requirements.
• Verify calibration of tools, instruments, and testing equipment.
• Ensure testing is conducted as per IS codes and project standards.

5. Coordination & Communication:

• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues.
• Attend site meetings and present quality updates.
• Assist in training site teams on QA/QC procedures for better compliance.

6. Non-Conformance Management (NCR):

• Identify and document non-conformities in materials or workmanship.
• Recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Follow up on closure of NCRs and ensure compliance.

7. Continuous Improvement:

• Suggest improvements to enhance work quality and reduce rework.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring issues.
