Job Title: Engineering Senior Manager 

Location: Bangalore-Manyata Tech Park

Business & Team: BB Tech - Business Lending

Roles & Responsibilities:

The primary purpose of the role is to build high performing web platform teams. To continuously improve the web products with best engineering solutions.

  • Set up digital engineering teams which consists of squads delivering products & initiatives aligning to bank's Strategic and business objectives.
  • Establish a functional and seamless operating model that operates efficiently.
  • Create empowered teams with decision making autonomy by providing leadership and clear direction that empowers squad members to deliver on priorities, outcomes and tasks.
  • Deliver product with technical change aligned with the bank's strategic priorities.
  • Ensure the creation of a high performing and engaged direct team through effective leadership.
  • Protect, Simplify and improve the bank's core web and ensure assets roadmap and reference architectures are in place for your business domain.
  • Ensures Compliance with the bank's change and delivery frameworks and methodologies.
  • Adopt web development architecture, engineering, user experience and testing standards and practices.

Essential Skills:

  • 18+ years of industry experience with 5+ years of leadership experience with experience in Technical Engineering Manager role is required. Well versed with managing full cycle engineering teams.
  • Experience in creating high level solution architecture flows.
  • Experience in BIAN architecture - Awareness and experience in Microservices Architecture
  • Experience in .NET Core, React JS, Typescript, , , Python along with REST, GraphQL and API Development Experience
  • Database such as Oracle, PostgresSQL , AWS Aurora with extensive experience in Cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Well versed in AI Powered Engineering tools like Cline, GitHub Copilot
  • Should have done mentoring, reviewing of codes, making blueprints etc.
  • Experience in Secure Coding Practices

Education Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or master's degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
