  1. Core Responsibilities

  2. Design, develop, and maintain a comprehensive test automation framework for our financial applications, incorporating security, performance, and accessibility testing

  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and ensure the timely delivery of projects
  4. Utilise automated testing tools and methodologies to efficiently assess the functionality, reliability, and usability of software solutions
  5. Work with cloud platforms, specifically Azure, to architect, deploy, and manage secure and scalable testing infrastructure
  6. Perform regular security assessments, code reviews, and vulnerability scanning to identify and address potential threats
  7. Analyze performance metrics and implement optimizations to enhance the end-user experience
  8. Ensure that applications meet accessibility standards and provide an inclusive user experience
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the team's capabilities and the overall software development process

  10. Assist in mentoring and guiding junior developers and team members on testing best practices

  11. Experience Requirements

  12. 5+ years' experience in Automation Testing with knowledge in Full Stack preferred with working within Financial Services or Banking is desirable but not essential

  13. Knowledge Requirements

  14. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  15. 5+ years of experience in test automation, including hands-on experience with security/performance/accessibility testing
  16. Knowledge in full stack development and frameworks such as Java/Python, JavaScript.
  17. Experience working with databases like SQL, NoSQL, and ORM technologies
  18. Experience with the following tools/framework:
  19. Karate framework
  20. BDD framework (Cucumber)
  21. GIT
  22. JIRA
  23. Webdriverio
  24. Azure basics
  25. Zypher
  26. Hands-on experience with Azure and cloud-native testing infrastructure
  27. Strong understanding of automated testing tools, frameworks, and best practices
  28. Relevant certifications (ISTQB, CSTE, etc.) are a plus
  29. Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
  30. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
  31. Demonstrated passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
  32. Nice to have : nCino, Mambu
