About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Junior Java Developer to join our engineering team. The

ideal candidate is passionate about building scalable, high-performance applications and

has a strong background in designing and implementing enterprise-grade solutions. You

will be responsible for end-to-end development — from designing microservices to

ensuring robust integrations and performance optimizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of Java microservices using Spring Boot.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code under the guidance of senior

developers.

  • Work on RESTful APIs for commerce modules such as Orders, Products, and

Inventory.

  • Contribute to database integration using MongoDB and caching with Redis.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
  • Apply best practices in containerization (Docker) and CI/CD workflows.
  • Collaborate with team members in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 0–2 years of professional experience in Java development (internship or projects

acceptable).

  • Strong knowledge of Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • Familiarity with Spring Boot (academic, training, or project exposure is acceptable).
  • Basic understanding of REST APIs and database concepts.
  • Exposure to either MongoDB, MySQL, or any relational/non-relational database.
  • Knowledge of Git and version control.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and work in a team environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Exposure to Docker or containerization concepts.
  • Familiarity with front-end basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/React).
  • Experience with unit testing (JUnit) in academic or project work.
  • Interest in e-commerce or retail domain.
