JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for experienced Team Lead for Rebar Detailing and Estimation work to mentor an enthusiastic team at VELASAR designs at Ahmedabad. We are an outsourcing company providing design, detail and drafting services to our overseas clients in the US.

In this role, you will deal with the clients to understand their expectations; and train, guide and mentor a team of detailers and estimators to deliver the drawings and estimates with desired accuracy in the stipulated timeline. RESPONSIBILITIES-To oversee preparation of REBAR detailing drawings of reinforced concrete elements, Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) and REBAR quantities and cost calculations done manually as well as using software. -To review and analyse the project documents; and identify the drawing and specification conflicts, insufficient information or missing dimensions and procure the same form clients.

-To coordinate and communicate with clients & team members regularly for queries and update on progress to achieve accuracy and deliver on time. -To check the drawings and calculations systematically before handing over the files to clients, allied agencies or even colleagues to maintain a high standard of error-free submissions. -To oversee the training and induction of newly recruited detailers and estimators into the set systems and methodology of the organisation.
