User Experience Designer

Core Responsibilities
- Convert epics/PRDs to end-to-end flows, wires, and hifi prototypes; define states (empty, loading, error, edge cases).
- Codify repeatable patterns into the design system; contribute components/variants and usage guidance.
- Partner with BAs/Engineers on ACs; specify validations and microcopy; align with security/compliance.
- Prepare precise handoffs (specs, redlines, interaction notes) and run design QA before UAT.
- Validate on Edge/Chrome; ensure WCAG 2.1 AA compliance and log a11y findings.
- Plan lightweight research (stakeholder walkthroughs, heuristics, and quick user checks) and synthesize insights.
- Track designedvsdelivered, rework rate, and defect leakage; drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate dependencies with other squads (Reference Data, Transformation Service, Integrations).
Must-Have Skills
- 6-9 yrs enterprise workflow UX; advanced Figma (components/variants/prototypes); design system contribution.
- Strong UX writing/microcopy for enterprise errors and confirmations.
- Accessibility and browser validation literacy; evidence-led iteration.
- Comfortable with Angular constraints, REST/GraphQL concepts, and BFF patterns.
Good-to-Have
- Payments workflows exposure; Storybook collaboration; analytics tools (GA/Amplitude) basics; remote usability testing.
