Job Responsibilities :-

Legal and compliance:

  • Conduct legal due diligence, including title searches and checking for encumbrances.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local land use, zoning, and environmental regulations.
  • Draft, review, and manage legal documents such as purchase agreements and contracts.
  • Mitigate legal risks associated with land transactions.

Acquisition and negotiation:

  • Oversee the negotiation and purchase/leasing of land.
  • Negotiate prices and terms with landowners, intermediaries, and government bodies.
  • Conduct market research to identify suitable sites and assess their value.

Liaison and stakeholder management:

  • Liaise with government officials (e.g., revenue departments, municipal bodies) to facilitate approvals, registrations, and surveys.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with government agencies, community members, and other stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at public meetings or hearings.

Project coordination:

  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., legal, engineering, environmental) and external agencies to ensure a smooth acquisition process.
  • Manage all project documentation, ensuring proper record-keeping for land records and agreements.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and advise teams on potential impacts to project development
