Role Description

Our Enterprise Data Intelligence (EDI) team at
Arffy
is driving a major modernization initiative—migrating legacy Crystal Reports and SQL logic into a scalable, cloud-first analytics framework on
Azure Databricks, Synapse, and Power BI
.

We're looking for a
hands-on Data Engineer
who loves solving complex data challenges and building high-performance pipelines.

What You'll Work On:


• Reverse-engineer legacy Crystal Reports & SQL logic


• Build optimized
PySpark
pipelines in Databricks


• Modernize and modularize SQL transformations


• Integrate curated datasets into Azure Synapse


• Design & orchestrate ADF pipelines


• Perform unit, integration & regression testing


• Collaborate with analysts, QA, and architects

Must-Have Skills:


• 5+ years in Data Engineering / ETL


• Strong
PySpark
&
SQL
expertise


• Azure Databricks + ADF hands-on experience


• Data modeling (star/snowflake)


• Git + CI/CD familiarity


• Strong debugging & performance tuning skills

Nice to Have:


• Power BI dataset optimization


• Unity Catalog / governance exposure
