About the Role: The Conversations team powers the heart of customer interaction - where users manage messages, channels, threads, and responses in real time. We're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer (SDE-3) to own the front-end experience for our messaging suite - designing robust, scalable, and delightful UIs that handle large message volumes, complex state, and real-time updates gracefully. Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience building production-grade web apps using , React, or Angular.
  • Strong understanding of state management, component design patterns, and modern JS/TS.
  • Proficiency with frontend build systems (Webpack, Vite, Rollup, etc.).
  • Practical understanding of UI/UX principles, responsiveness, and accessibility.
  • Experience using browser dev tools to diagnose and optimize performance.
  • Bonus: familiarity with Module Federation, microfrontends, or multi-repo environments.
  • Bonus: Understanding of frontend observability (Sentry, Lighthouse, Chrome tracing).
Responsibilities:
  • Architect and build (2/3) applications with clean, modular, maintainable code.
  • Design and manage state systems (Vuex/Pinia) that handle complex real-time UI flows.
  • Collaborate with Design to create pixel-perfect, accessible, and performant interfaces.
  • Profile and optimize rendering, bundle sizes, and browser performance.
  • Work with Module Federation and other microfrontend strategies for scalable delivery.
  • Contribute to and improve build pipelines (Vite, Webpack, Rollup).
  • Introduce patterns, abstractions, and structure to help others move faster with confidence.
  • Review code, mentor peers, and help elevate frontend quality and standards.
