Tech/BCA (On -Site) Certifications Required if ANY Relevant Certification (Preference), ITIL Certified Specific Remarks/Requirement by customer No gap in education Role Purpose We are seeking an experienced HPE 3PAR/Primera/Alletra Storage Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience in managing and supporting storage systems, including SAN Zoning in day to day operations. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 1) Install, configure, administrator and maintain HPE 3PAR/Primera/Alletra Storage. Experience in IBM and DELL EMC and Lenovo Storages products would be an added advantage 2) Perform health checks and proactive configuration management on the storage environment. 3) Provide Out of Hours On -Call support for P1 or critical incidents 4) Perform availability monitoring as part of incident resolution on storage systems 5) Resolve incidents relating to the storage systems 6) Track and confirm that storage environment and associated software inventory is correctly recorded in CMDB 7) Support the software troubleshooting and upgrade processes, including vendor coordination for storage related software 8) Verify storage operability after maintenance activities 9) Maintain policy and procedure documentation for storage administration 10) Proactive system optimization and maintenance as required 11) Excellent troubleshooting skills in SAN and Storage troubleshooting 12) Storage Migration and HPE Storages Replication 13) Develop and maintain records for entire storage as well as FC systems 14) Develop and implement automated solutions to support operational and SLA objectives 15) Good knowledge on SAN performance tuning 16) Respond quickly and effectively to Storage issues and outages 17) Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis for incidents (Severity 1 only) 18) Good knowledge on Storage provisioning, Host groups, Lun Masking, Tiering, Data migration 19) Good knowledge and understanding on data replication 20) Good Knowledge and understanding of Management Tools as well as SSMC/Spectrum/DSCC 21) Good communication skills and ready to work in 24x7 support 22) Good understanding on Virtual volume allocations Extents creations 23) Storage space and switch ports capacity management 24) Has experience working in a large storage environment with formal change management practices 25) Strong Knowledge on firmware upgrades fixing SAN switch port issues and server path fail issues 26) Working knowledge on storage arrays storage volume allocations and fixing hardware issues 27) Working experience on troubleshooting on performance issues on Isilon Storage 28) Working experience on Brocade and CISCO switches on creating zoning and setting SAN boot policies 29) Working experience on performing storage arrays Firmware upgrades on HPE 3PAR/Primera/Alletra Storages 30) Working Experience on SAN switch firmware upgrades and array migrations Technical Skills/Knowledge Requirement 1) HPE 3PAR Storage/HPE Primera Storage/HPE Alletra Storage/San Director (Primary Skills) 2) Brocade and Cisco SAN Switches Management 3) ITIL Certified 4) OEM Certified minimum on one storage technology with exposure to day to day operations FOR HPE Project Manager Mr. Baldeep Singh Date 20th Jan 2025 Signature FOR Customer Project Manager MSIL Date Signature
