Job Description This is a full-time in-person position in Kolkata, the working hours will be 11-8PM. We ask for this timing to ensure you get enough time with our management based in the United States. We are looking for an experienced Senior Android Engineer to spearhead our AI Powered Dashcam ( Smart Dashcam ). Responsibilities: 1. Working on complex products with hardware components 2. Working with the rest of our existing Android & mobile engineers to build scalable hardware & software solutions 3. Must have a very strong eye for detail, as well as a strong ability to personally test through products. 4. Will have complete ownership of the entire product. In charge of testing, development, and r&d. 5. Building complex applications in Android from scratch. 6. Connecting Android applications with API's and working with our back-end developers in developing API's for each design screen. 7. Able to work with design documentation, and other developers in our teams to bring customers projects into production. 8. Experience with scaling applications. 9. Experience with hardware based products, or specifically cameras is a plus. 10. Experience with video-streaming or ADAS systems is a plus Requirements: 1. A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience working on Android applications in Java. 2. A minimum of 8 years (including college) of software programming. 3. A minimum of 5 years experience working with API's delivering data in JSON. 4. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. 5. Ability to work with a team of remote-developers to define, design, and ship new features and applications. 6. Strong grasp of both English and Hindi. Must be able to speak fluently in English. 7. Experience with source code version control such as Git. 8. Very strong experience with Asynchronous Mobile services. 9. Needs to be able to build responsive applications from scratch.
