Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable data models.
  • Collaborate with architects and analysts to define data requirements.

  • Conduct thorough data analysis to understand trends and patterns.
  • Optimize existing data models for improved performance.
  • Develop ETL processes for data integration and transformation.

  • Document data models and design specifications comprehensively.
  • Work with data governance teams to ensure compliance with policies.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of data warehousing solutions.
  • Assist in conducting user training sessions on data access tools.

  • Resolve data issues and provide technical support to teams.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data modeling.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data modeling or data engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems.
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts and design.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of data governance and best practices.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data quality.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms like AWS or Azure.
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance.
  • Certifications in data management or analytics are a plus.
