Primary responsibility will be to craft future-ready, fail-proof strategies for clients by leading presales and post sales efforts, while actively shaping solution architecture and guiding delivery teams to execute with excellence and on time-every time

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Data, AI/ML & Gen AI Leader to establish and scale our AI practice. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in machine learning, LLMs, data science and GenAI platforms, and will be responsible for defining the technical roadmap, driving innovation, mentoring teams, and delivering impactful Data and AI solutions across industries.

He/She will collaborate with C-suite leaders and technical stakeholders from ideation to execution. As a thought leader, he/she is expected to bring best practices from both presales and delivery, bridge the gap between business needs and technical complexity, and stay ahead of rapid shifts in data, AI, GenAI, and agentic technologies through.

This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on technical capability, and leadership acumen to shape and grow the organizations Data, AI and GenAI capabilities. We expect hands-on expertise in cloud platforms (with AWS as primary), Good Snowflake knowledge, Azure awareness, good understanding of enterprise platforms (SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Dynamics), and experience with leading databases (Oracle, MySQL) and ETL tools (like Glue, Fivetran, EMR).

Work to be done-

• Build, mentor, and lead a cross-functional AI team including data scientists, ML engineers, data engineers, and solution architects.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of cloud-native data, AI/ML, and GenAI platforms leveraging AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Redshift, Athena, AppFlow, Step Functions, Rekognition, Textract, Comprehend).
• Architect and oversee the design and deployment of end-to-end AI/ML pipelines, including data ingestion, model training, evaluation, and deployment optimize ETL pipelines, lakehouses, and advanced analytics solutions on AWS and Snowflake.
• Lead Generative AI initiatives such as intelligent chatbots, document summarization, knowledge assistants, and code-generation solutions.
• Translate complex client problems into actionable data and AI strategies through POCs, MVPs and production-grade deployment leveraging open-source and enterprise AI stacks including agentic AI frameworks, RAG workflows, and enterprise MLOps/DataOps best practices.
• Define, implement, and enforce data governance, master data management (MDM), cataloging, and lineage frameworks for accuracy, integrity, and compliance - working across Oracle, MySQL, and other enterprise data sources.
• Conduct platform health reviews: data/AI quality assessments, root cause analyses, and continuous improvement for reliability and performance.
• Partner with business, sales, and product teams to shape tailored proposals, SoW, pricing, and effort estimation for large-scale enterprise data, AI, and GenAI projects.
• Mentor and lead delivery teams - ensuring best practices across presales, solution architecture, and project execution, with exposure to ETL tools like Fivetran, EMR, Glue, and scalable database management.
• Engage with partners (AWS, Microsoft, NVIDIA, etc.) for joint solution development.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8 -10 years of experience in data analytics and AI/ML with deep cloud expertise (AWS mandatory, Snowflake desired, Azure /GCP and ETL tools like Fivetran good to have).
• Demonstrated leadership in presales architecting, solution workshops, client engagement, and enterprise data & AI delivery across platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Dynamics.
• Proficiency with cloud-based AI services (Amazon SageMaker, Vertex AI, Bedrock, OpenAI APIs) Cloud-based data and ETL service like Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Redshift; Visualization tools like Quicksight, Grafana.
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face), LLM fine-tuning techniques, and programming stack like Python, Spark, Scala.
• Strong understanding of vector databases, RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation), and prompt optimization techniques.
• Experience building or deploying GenAI, Agentic AI (including RAG models), data agents, and leveraging the latest in cognitive/enterprise AI trends; good understanding of Azure and hybrid/multi-cloud strategies, including integration with SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Dynamics.
• Proven advocacy and implementation of DataOps, MLOps, data governance, and metadata management at scale utilizing a mix of modern enterprise tools and native cloud services.
• Exceptional analytical, solution design, and communication skills; adept at leading technical and business discussions and mentoring/leading diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, AWS Data Analytics Professional or SnowPro Certification.
• Certification or specialization in Generative AI, NLP, or Deep Learning from reputed platforms (e.g., Coursera, Stanford, NVIDIA DLI).
• Experience leading global or US-based client engagements and shaping enterprise data/AI strategies from presales to delivery.
• Exposure to Azure AI/Data services, enterprise platform integrations (SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Dynamics), metadata/catalog tools, and designing modern data operating models.
• Experience with large-scale proposals, SoW creation, and bringing best-in-class presales and delivery practices.
