Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of cloud-based applications using Microsoft Azure and .NET technologies.
  • POC, Designing, developing, and maintaining the enterprise architecture, including data, applications, integrations, infrastructure, security and including below skills.
  • Strong experience in integrating COTS products/applications, integration platforms
  • Design solutions that ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability of applications.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to development teams and stakeholders.
  • Architect and implement solutions using Azure services (such as Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure Storage, Azure Service Bus, etc.) to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to define and refine project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, security best practices, and company policies.
  • Assist in defining technical roadmaps and evolving the architecture to keep up with emerging technologies.
  • Design and implement Azure DevOps pipelines for automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment (CI/CD) in Azure.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve performance and scalability issues within cloud applications.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a software architect with extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud applications.
  • Architectural Methodologies: Experience with various architectural frameworks and methodologies, such as TOGAF.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure, including services such as Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Excellent architectural understanding of microservices and various queuing techniques including Pub/Sub model.
  • Strong SQL preferably on MS SQL Server, exposure to No-SQL databases.
  • Expertise in .NET frameworks, particularly .NET Core, C#, Entity Framework, and Azure SDK.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices design, and serverless computing.
  • Strong architectural understanding of React framework.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control (Git).
  • Solid understanding of application security principles and how to implement them in a cloud environment.
  • Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless solutions.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and software development life cycles.
