Job Title :
Team Data Governance Lead PIM/ MDM (Data Team)

Job Responsibilities

  • Define and implement enterprise-wide Data Governance Frameworks, standards, and operating models.
  • Develop and enforce data policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data accuracy, privacy, and security.
  • Establish and maintain metadata management processes, including data lineage and business glossary.
  • Drive data classification initiatives to support information protection and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead and support Data Quality Management initiatives, including profiling, monitoring, and remediation.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to design and implement data stewardship and ownership models.
  • Implement BPM workflows to streamline data issue resolution, approval cycles, and governance activities.
  • Work with data owners and stewards to ensure compliance with local regulatory standards such as NDMO and PDPL.
  • Support the creation of data catalogs and integrate metadata repositories for improved discoverability and usability.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of governance programs through KPIs and maturity models.
  • Facilitate DAMA-DMBOK aligned practices across the Qualifications :
  • 6 to 8 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or related disciplines.
  • Proven experience in implementing or supporting enterprise data governance programs.
  • Strong understanding of data policies, standards, metadata, data quality, and data lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and protection regulations, especially NDMO and PDPL in the Saudi context.
  • Familiarity with BPM (Business Process Management) workflows as applied to data governance processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience in driving cross-functional data governance initiatives across business and technical teams.
  • DAMA certification (e.g., CDMP) is highly (Good to Have) :
  • Hands-on experience with any of the following tools : Informatica CDGC (Cloud Data Governance and Catalog) Collibra Ataccama ServiceNow Data Governance/CMDB modules.
  • Experience working in data-intensive industries such as manufacturing, supply chain, or food & beverage.
  • Exposure to data governance automation and AI/ML-based data quality solutions.
