Job Description

We are hiring experienced Mechanical QC Engineers for site-based QA/QC inspection activities at Kattupalli, Tamil Nadu. The role includes stage-wise inspection, welding quality checks, coordination with contractors and client teams, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct QA/QC inspections for fabrication, welding, piping, equipment installation and structural works
• Review drawings, WPS/PQR/WPQ, ITP/QAP and project specifications
• Perform fit-up, welding visual inspection, dimensional checks & final stage inspections
• Coordinate with contractors, client inspectors and third-party teams
• Verify material traceability, MTCs, heat numbers and consumables
• Review NDT reports (RT, UT, MT, PT, etc.)
• Raise and track NCRs, corrective actions (CAPA) and deviation reports
• Prepare daily inspection reports and QA/QC documentation
• Ensure compliance with ASME, AWS and project standards

Requirements

• BE/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 8 years QA/QC experience in fabrication, welding & piping
• Strong knowledge of ASME codes, material standards and NDT
• Experience in EPC, heavy engineering, refineries or industrial sites
• Good documentation, reporting and coordination skills
