Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive IEC strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

Conduct needs assessments to identify communication gaps and opportunities.

Lead the development of IEC policies, guidelines, and frameworks.

Content Development & Dissemination

Oversee the creation of IEC materials such as brochures, newsletters, videos, social media campaigns, and audio-visual aids.

Ensure messages are tailored to target audiences for maximum impact.

Maintain a repository of IEC resources and knowledge materials.

Community Engagement & Campaigns

Plan and execute awareness drives, workshops, and events to enhance public participation.

Collaborate with field teams to ensure effective implementation of IEC activities.

Work with external partners, NGOs, and local authorities to drive outreach campaigns.

Monitoring & Reporting

Track, analyze, and evaluate the effectiveness of IEC activities.

Prepare and present regular reports with insights and recommendations.

Ensure compliance with ethical communication standards and regulatory guidelines.

Leadership & Coordination

Manage a team of IEC executives and field staff to deliver on program goals.

Coordinate with internal departments, government bodies, and media agencies for smooth execution.

Manage budgets and resources allocated for IEC activities.

Qualifications & Skills

Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Mass Communication, Social Work, Public Relations, or related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IEC, communication, or community engagement roles (experience in waste management/urban development will be an advantage).

Strong skills in content development, communication strategy, and campaign management.

Ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
