Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced
Senior Java + DevOps Engineer
with strong expertise in designing and building scalable, cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing frameworks and shared libraries that support large-scale microservices while ensuring security, reliability, and observability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop
    shared libraries, frameworks, and cross-cutting artifacts
    to support microservices at scale (security, observability, reliability, etc.).
  • Develop
    cloud-native applications
    with exposure to public or private cloud environments, preferably
    OpenShift
    with
    Hibernate
    .
  • Work independently to analyze, design, plan, implement, and roll out solutions for large, unstructured problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure proper
    documentation and knowledge transfer
    so that ongoing work can be seamlessly continued by other team members.
  • Collaborate with the team for brainstorming, solution reviews, and additional resource requirements while maintaining team integration and updates.
  • Manage
    source control tools
    (GIT) effectively to maintain clean and collaborative code repositories.
  • Utilize
    monitoring tools
    such as
    Splunk
    and
    Dynatrace
    for distributed application monitoring and observability.
  • Work with both
    SQL and NoSQL databases
    , including
    schema design
    and optimization.
  • Oversee
    end-to-end application rollout to production
    ensuring smooth delivery and monitoring.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience
    in
    Java
    and
    DevOps practices
    .
  • Strong expertise in
    microservices architecture
    and
    framework design
    .
  • Proven experience in
    cloud-native development
    (OpenShift preferred).
  • Proficiency in
    Hibernate
    .
  • Strong database knowledge in
    SQL and NoSQL
    with experience in schema design.
  • Hands-on experience with
    GIT
    ,
    Splunk
    , and
    Dynatrace
    .
  • Excellent
    communication and collaboration skills
    .
  • Ability to work
    independently
    as well as in
    team environments
    .
  • Must be willing to work
    onsite in Chennai
    .
