Linux DevOps – Team Lead

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of DevOps engineers and Linux administrators to achieve project and operational goals.
Architect, implement, and manage scalable Linux-based infrastructure on AWS using core services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and more.
Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Manage container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker to support microservices deployment.
Define, implement, and enforce DevOps best practices including security, monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and timely deployments.
Oversee incident management, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting of complex production issues.
Drive continuous process improvements, including documentation of infrastructure, runbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices.
Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, audit requirements, and industry standards.
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide transparent progress updates.

Skills:

6 years of Linux system administration and AWS experience with deep troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
Minimum 2 years of experience leading DevOps teams and projects.
Strong experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and others.
Proven skills in building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
Expertise in automation and configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, Shelli Script).
Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Solid scripting ability in Bash, Python, or equivalent languages.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
Strong knowledge of networking, security best practices, and cloud architecture principle Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
