A Rupa Slitaire, sector Millennium Business park , Navi mumbai Sr. Engineer QA (FPG) Experience : 5 to 6 yrs Skills Required : Job Summary : Main Responsibilities: Creation of test plans, test requirements and test cases. Establishment of test procedures, and product certifications. Maintain and update test cases according to new features and platforms. Specification and execution of longevity tests. Specification and execution of performance and stability tests. Test status reporting, as part of product release, or on demand certification. Generation of bug reports, and tracking. Supporting the development team by reproducing customer issues. Maintenance of test platforms to provide complete coverage of supported systems and configurations. Understand and be able to write database scripts to validate and test data integrity and performance. Required skills: Traditional QA resource with 5-6 years of experience in Manual testing with strong experience in Linux/Unix platform and tools. Working experience in Linux Filesystems ( NFS, CIFS etc ) Experience with web application firewall, encryption, and networking (e.g. Sockets, TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, iSCSI, WebDAV, etc) Experience with web based GUI Testing Experience in bug tracking systems (Bugzilla, TestDirector) and QA test tools. Extensive experience designing and performing test cases. Desired skills: Working experience with shell and bat script Should have experience installing and configuring DB in windows & UNIX machine Familiar with at least one of these databases: Oracle, Sqlserver Knowledge and experience with Bugzilla, Jira and Testopia Performance and tuning experience in Filesystems Knowledge of Security Domain Skills Required Hands on Experience on Linux or Unix Platform Experience or knowledge on Windows Platform Experience on GUI Testing Experience on networking (TCP/IP, SSL, FTP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, SOAP, REST, HTML, XML, JSON, CSS, JavaScript) Programming (Any Programming language C, C ) Experience in Automation Testing (Good to have) Experience on Kernel testing (Good to have) Good communication Skills Good to have experience on Shell scripting (Not mandatory)
