
Communications Manager

JOB PURPOSE
Youll collaborate closely with the Regional Communications Manager and school teams to take a strategic, creative approach to content planning and storytelling. As the functional communications lead for India, youll mentor and upskill school-based Communications Managers, supporting them through shared planning, content review cycles, and best practice development to ensure consistently high-quality output across all schools. Whether its digital or traditional media, youll help amplify our brand and spark meaningful engagement with our diverse audiences. Youll also lead internal communications for the India Officeworking with colleagues to craft messages that build a strong, positive culture and deepen alignment with Nord Anglia and our Oakridge schools.

CONTENT STRATEGY AND CREATION
Ensure consistently high standards of content across schools in India
1. Shape and elevate content strategies across our schools to ensure every story is engaging, informative, and unmistakably Oakridge/Nord Anglia.
2. Review school-generated content and offer expert guidance on tone, frequency, and style. Establish and maintain content quality frameworks and feedback cycles to ensure consistency across schools. Introduce and model use of AI tools where appropriate.
3. Create or commission original content that brings our brand to life across digital and offline channels.
4. Collaborate on brand frameworks, lead generation, awareness campaigns and other regional communications initiatives that drive real impact.

Qualifications/Training
Bachelors Degree
Experience / Knowledge/ SkillsMinimum 3 years working in an English-language copywriting, journalism or related discipline
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
Good copy-writing and copy-editing skills across a diverse range of media and a deep understanding of how to optimize content for each
Effective understanding of good practice in relation to website content optimisation
Experience of contributing to and managing all social media platforms
Successful experience of PR and media relations
Strong management skills and mentorship experience
Good analytical skills
