We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Head to manage and streamline procurement activities for our real estate operations in Kolkata and Noida. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of proven experience in procurement within the real estate or construction industry. You will be responsible for vendor management, cost negotiation, material sourcing, and ensuring timely procurement to support project timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Planning: Coordinate with project teams to understand material and service requirements for real estate projects.
  • Vendor Development: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers and contractors. Build and maintain a strong vendor base.
  • Cost Negotiation: Obtain competitive quotes and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Purchase Order Management: Issue and track purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with specifications.
  • Contract Management: Assist in drafting and managing procurement-related contracts and agreements.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure procured materials meet quality standards and project requirements.
  • Inventory Coordination: Work closely with warehouse and project teams to manage inventory levels and avoid delays.
  • Compliance: Ensure procurement practices comply with company policies and government regulations.
  • Reporting: Maintain records of purchases, pricing, vendor performance, and prepare procurement reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the real estate or construction sector.
  • Knowledge of local markets in Kolkata and Noida is a strong advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office and procurement software (SAP, ERP, etc.).
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors and deliverables across locations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of building materials, construction contracts, and supplier evaluation.
  • Willingness to travel between Kolkata and Noida as needed.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi; Bengali is a plus for Kolkata role.
