The team you will be a part of

The Operations/Production team plans, directs and monitors all production activities within an assigned area or unit to maximize the use of the organization's resources and meet established production specifications, schedules and quality standards. Liaise with functional or operational area managers to understand their current and future product needs and develop plans, cost estimates, and schedules for integrating these needs into existing manufacturing activities.

This role in summary

Control line/ shop with complete responsibility for delivery of set targets for volume, cost & quality withcompliance to processes for his line.

Your responsibilities will include

1) Ensure usage of PPE across the floor

2) Report any incident / near miss with prelims analysis to shift manager and record in log book.

3) Conducts weekly safety meeting with BC and EHS representative and ensure actions are taken.

1)Ensure First piece inspection happended

2) Act immediately for any process NC captured suring shift process audit.

3) Act on CAL 'A' Defect immediately to contain / permanent action and escalate if support is required.

4) For the issues of repetitive nature , analyze preliminary... take correction / escalate.

5) Ensure right skill is placed @ right work station…. Deployment of certified / tranied operators.

6) Work on LGT contributors.

7) Well versed with Usage of QC Tools , problem solving techniques

1) Tracks rejections happened during shift in various shops.

2)conducts preliminary analysis is done , take correction / escalate.

3) Drive focussed projects for improvement on scrap / rejections

1) Shift start ups on time, manpower allocation

2) Actualization of shift/ line targets as per model plan.

3) Responsible for line yield.

4)Explore alternatives in case or breakdowns / material shortage or other issues, which affects shiftproduction...apprise to shift manager.

5) Foresee bottlenecks for the shift delivery and work on timely correction.

Minimum requirements

Mechanical Graduate / Diploma Mechanical

2 - 5 years on shop floor

Preferred skills and experiences

Manpower deployment on his line/ area

2) Acts as prime mentor for temp work force deployed in his area

3)Observer to people related issues, timely intervention , resolution and report to shift manager
