About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Back-End Developer with deep expertise in PHP and the Laravel framework to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will take a leadership role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. You'll collaborate closely with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to deliver robust and efficient software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable backend architecture using Laravel and PHP.
  • Develop and manage RESTful APIs and integrations with third-party services.
  • Optimize database queries and ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
  • Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews to maintain high coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and help define long-term technical strategies.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized environments
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
  • Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Understanding of microservices or serverless architectures
  • Basic knowledge of frontend technologies , React, or Angular)
  • Experience leading projects or mentoring junior developers

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using PHP and Laravel
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and MVC architecture
  • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services
  • Solid knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases, including query optimization
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, etc.)
  • Strong grasp of application security, authentication/authorization (OAuth2, JWT), and data protection best practices
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as PHPUnit or Pest
  • Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance in complex applications
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹45,000.00 per month
