Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst with 5-8 years of experience in data analysis, ideally in the FMCG sector, to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to provide actionable insights, which will support business decisions and help improve our processes. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with experience in handling large data sets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Perform detailed data analysis and generate insights to guide business decisions.
  • Design and develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data.
  • Analyze sales, supply chain, and market data to forecast demand, optimize inventory, and improve profitability.
  • Support business teams with data-driven recommendations on product launches, marketing campaigns, and promotions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies.
  • Develop and maintain reports on key business KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Identify areas for process improvements and automate data workflows where applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards.
  • Provide support in the design of data models and maintain data integrity.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors/masters degree.
  • 5-8 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on FMCG, retail, or related industries.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Solid understanding of statistical methods and ability to apply them in real-world business scenarios.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Experience working with large datasets and familiarity with big data is a plus.
