Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Civil Project Engineer. The Civil Project Engineer will oversee daily operations, manage the design and execution of civil projects, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing civil engineering designs, ensuring effective site development, managing stormwater systems, and conducting quality control checks. The role requires collaboration with various teams to meet project timelines and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Execution & Supervision:
     Oversee RCC, structural, and architectural works to ensure alignment with design specifications and project timelines.
  • MEP & Interior Coordination:
     Work closely with MEP and interior finishing teams to ensure seamless integration of services within the civil structure.
  • Quality & Safety Assurance:
     Enforce strict quality control based on project standards (e.g., IS codes) and manage site safety to prevent accidents.
  • Contractor & Vendor Management:
     Coordinate with multiple subcontractors and vendors, monitoring their daily progress and target-based execution.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
     Prepare daily progress reports (DPR), maintain as-built drawings, and track project expenses against the allocated budget.
  • Technical Compliance:
     Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, government regulations, and environmental standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education:
     Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
