Role Overview:

The AR/VR Operator will be responsible for managing and operating the
AR/VR Lab, Design Review Lab, and VR Crane Simulation Lab
at Jindal COE, Raigarh. The role requires hands-on expertise in handling immersive technologies and IT hardware, assisting trainees and engineers during VR sessions, and coordinating between
Aatral
and
Jindal
teams to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the labs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and manage
    VR headsets, AR/VR applications, and associated workstations
    within the Centre of Excellence.
  • Assist users during
    VR training sessions
    by guiding them in using the headsets and applications effectively.
  • Schedule and manage training sessions through the
    VR Training Dashboard
    .
  • Generate, compile, and maintain
    training reports
    from the dashboard for record-keeping and review.
  • Coordinate regularly with
    Aatral's central team
    for updates, feedback, and technical support.
  • Interact with
    Jindal's training and operations teams
    to capture feedback, identify upcoming requirements, and suggest enhancements in the AR/VR modules.
  • Perform
    basic troubleshooting
    and ensure timely maintenance of hardware and software systems.
  • Occasionally visit the
    Jindal plant sites
    to collect inputs and capture
    360° images/videos
    for new VR content development.
  • Maintain high standards of
    safety, professionalism, and data confidentiality
    during all operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum Qualification:
    Graduate degree (BCA / Any Graduate with relevant IT exposure).
  • Preferred Experience:
    1–2 years in AR/VR operations, IT support, or digital training environments (freshers with strong technical aptitude may also apply).
  • Language Proficiency:
    Must be fluent in
    English and Hindi
    (verbal and written).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in operating
    VR headsets (HTC Vive, Meta Quest, etc.)
    and related applications.
  • Knowledge of
    basic IT hardware and network handling
    .
  • Familiarity with
    AR/VR dashboards, content management systems
    , and data entry/reporting tools.
  • Soft Skills:
    Excellent communication, user-handling ability, problem-solving mindset, and team coordination.
  • Preferred Candidate:
    Resident of
    Raigarh or nearby region
    .
