Job Description
Responsibilities

  • Development in Golang/Core Java, J2EE, Struts, spring, Client-Side scripting, Hibernate, LookML, Database
  • Development of scalable core-java applications, Web Applications and Web Services
  • Develop and optimize Looker dashboards and visualizations, including LookML models, explores, and views.
  • Ensure dashboard performance, apply best practices in LookML development, and manage version control using Git.
  • Develop creative solutions and write technical design based on the requirements.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise grade SaaS software, adapting Agile methodology.
  • Assist in tuning and optimization.
  • Develop and execute unit tests for product components.
  • Perform peer code reviews and provide feedback.
  • Promote high quality, scalability, and timely completion of projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of Data Structures, algorithms and their applications
  • Experience in Java/Golang
  • Experience in building microservices using golang/Spring Boot stack (spring cloud, spring-data)
  • Extensive experience in developing and consuming REST APIs
  • Experience in profiling applications
  • Experience with at least one of the front-end frameworks such as Angular or Vue.
  • Good understanding of Software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience in SQL queries
  • Must have software development experience using: Java Sprintboot, Kafka, SQL, Linux, Apache Redis,
  • Good hands on experience in Looker
  • Experience in Looker Basics and LookML
  • Experience in Looker Dashboard development and Dashboard Performance optimization
  • Experience in LookML API integration
  • Experience in LookML Version control system with Git
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical skills and general logical reasoning
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
  • Experience: 4 to 10 years

Good to have

  • Experience using Looker in multi-tenant environment
  • Dashboard deployments across multiple Looker instances
  • Software development experience in AWS cloud using: Go, Python, MongoDB, Postgres, Clickhouse
