Resiliency Testing Analyst, Officer

Job Description:

The Resiliency Testing Analyst, Officer, provides essential support within the Testing Centre of Excellence (CoE) for resilience initiatives at State Street. The Officer will assist in preparing, coordinating, executing, and reporting on resilience tests, including cyber, third-party resiliency, scenario, and crisis testing. This role involves collaborating with Business & IT teams to collect data for resilience posture assessment and risk assessment, analyze relevant data, report and summarize resilience test results, and contribute to cross-functional collaboration for testing activities to ensure high-quality support to achieve operational resilience standards.

What we are looking for:

• A business resilience and continuity testing professional with a minimum of 9 years of experience, who can take initiative, ownership, and meet deadlines.

• Assist in the design, coordination, and execution of detailed testing plans and tabletop exercises.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate testing schedules, collect, and manage data required for the resilience tests, analyze test results and document reports with findings and recommendations.

• Conduct initial assessments of testing results, identifying key trends and areas for improvement.

• Manage routine reporting to ensure stakeholders have visibility on testing progress and outcomes.

• Contribute to the preparation of resilience testing metrics for internal and regulatory reporting, ensuring data accuracy.

• Support all types of resilience testing, ensuring adherence to policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines.

• Contribute to the Resilience TCoE governance and framework establishment activities.

• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, with strong attention to detail.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation skills, to support efficient testing coordination.

• Prior experience in financial services, operational resilience, risk management, or a related field is preferred.

• Basic understanding of risks and controls in a financial services environment, regulatory standards (e.g., DORA) and operational resilience principles are preferred.

• Intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and good problem-solving skills, with a zest for innovation and adapting to the latest in technology.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required

• Minimum relevant industry experience of 9-12 years

• 5+ years Third-Party Risk Management and/or Resiliency/Business Continuity experience preferred

• Project Management, analysis and reporting experience beneficial

Work Schedule: Hybrid – 4 Days a week in Office
