We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer/Database Developer with a strong background in PostgreSQL ,

and working knowledge of Python scripting to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate should

demonstrate expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing complex SQL queries and data pipelines.

Job Description / Duties and Responsibilities


• Design, write, and optimize complex SQL queries using PostgreSQL for reporting, analytics, and data

extraction.


• Develop and maintain Python scripts for supporting data workflows, automation, and light transformation

tasks (basic to intermediate scripting skills required).


• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business users to understand requirements and translate

them into robust data solutions.


• Build and manage data pipelines and contribute to performance tuning and troubleshooting of data

processes.


• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and quality of data across systems.


• Work across at least 2–3 full-cycle data engineering projects, contributing to architecture, development,

testing, and deployment.


• Leverage AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, etc., to build or enhance cloud-based data

workflows.

Job Specification / Skills and Competencies

Strong hands-on experience in SQL development, with deep expertise in PostgreSQL.

Good working knowledge of Python scripting (for data manipulation and basic automation tasks).

Proven experience delivering end-to-end data engineering projects.

Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities.
