Title: M.E.P Manager Construction Industry

Description

We, Lansum Properties looking for an MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Manager with a minimum of 8+

years of experience in 5* hotel construction who oversees the planning, design, and installation of MEP systems in

construction projects, ensuring they meet project specifications, budgets, and deadlines. They coordinate with

various teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Their role is crucial

for the successful integration of these systems within the overall building structure.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

Develop and manage project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for MEP systems.

Coordination and Communication:

Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure all MEP installations adhere to relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Budget and Cost Management:

Monitor and control project costs, ensuring projects stay within allocated budgets.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct site inspections, identify and resolve issues, and ensure the quality of MEP installations.

Risk Management:

Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.

Documentation and Reporting:

Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates, budget reports, and risk assessments.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and guide MEP teams, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project goals.

Subcontractor Management:

Oversee and manage subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with project requirements.

Integration with Overall Design:

Ensure MEP systems are seamlessly integrated into the overall building design and meet operational requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including relevant codes and regulations.

Project Management:

Proven experience in managing MEP projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders and build strong working relationships.

Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:

Ability to identify and resolve complex technical and project-related issues.

Leadership and Team Management:

Ability to lead and motivate MEP teams to achieve project goals.

Budget and Cost Management:

Experience in managing project budgets and controlling costs.

Safety Management:

Knowledge of safety standards and procedures related to MEP installations.

Software Proficiency:

Familiarity with project management software, AutoCAD, and other relevant tools.

Degree in Engineering:

A bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering field is often preferred
