1. Inventory Management:

   • Oversee the receiving, storage, and issuance of goods in the warehouse.
   • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including stock counts, adjustments, and replenishment orders.
   • Implement inventory control measures to minimize shrinkage, damages, and discrepancies.
   • Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.

2. Warehouse Operations:

   • Supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
   • Assign tasks and responsibilities to warehouse personnel to ensure optimal productivity.
   • Enforce safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
   • Monitor equipment maintenance and repair to ensure operational efficiency.
   • Implement efficient layout and organization of the warehouse to optimize space utilization and workflow.

3. Order Fulfillment:

   • Coordinate with other departments, such as sales and logistics, to fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
   • Ensure timely picking, packing, and dispatch of goods to meet delivery deadlines.
   • Resolve order discrepancies or issues promptly and effectively.
   • Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and condition of outgoing shipments.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

   • Prepare and maintain records of inbound and outbound shipments, including delivery receipts, invoices, and packing lists.
   • Generate regular reports on warehouse activities, including inventory levels, stock movements, and operational performance.
   • Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Godown Incharge, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory control.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field (preferred).
