About the job :Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with Senior MI Designer to clarify MI and analytical requirements.
  • Contribute to prototyping for requirements definition and technical design.
  • Develop functional and technical specifications from business requirements.
  • Design new solutions/enhancements of low to medium complexity (extraction logic, data modeling, reports).
  • Work with Business Analyst and Senior MI Designer on high complexity technical design specifications.
  • Supervise MI Developers and ensure adherence to build standards.
  • Prepare test scenarios, end-user documentation, and user manuals.
  • Execute/lead unit and integration tests.
  • Resolve defects during test cycles and hypercare.
  • Create runbooks and maintain technical documentation.
  • Support resolution of production issues with the Run & Maintain organization.

Key Knowledge Areas :

  • Experience with Native HANA modeling and SAP HANA technology.
  • Minimum of 3 full life cycle implementations in SAP HANA.
  • SAP HANA UI5 Fiori development experience.
  • Preferred experience with Apollo UI5 screens and SAP HANA XS JavaScript (XSJS).
  • Understanding of HANA Security model and HANA XS (SAP HANA views, XSOData).
  • Experience with Rev-Trac/CTS transport management tool.

Additional Requirements :

  • Experience with Consume Gateway OData Services for UI5 development.
  • Hands-on experience integrating with backend SAP and non-SAP applications.
  • Ability to self-learn new technologies in UI space with minimal supervision.
  • Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and team meetings.
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP UI5 standards and best practices.
