Job Description Script Writer (YouTube Shorts, Hindi)
We are looking for a creative and Bollywood-savvy Script Writer to create engaging 1-minute Hindi scripts for our YouTube channel. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of Bollywood movies, storytelling techniques, and short-form content structure.
Key Responsibilities
Write high-quality, engaging, 1-minute Hindi scripts for YouTube Shorts.
Research Bollywood movies, iconic scenes, stories, facts, and trends.
Develop clear, crisp, and fast-paced storytelling suited for short-form content.
Ensure scripts are original, entertaining, and aligned with the channels style.
Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm new ideas and formats.
Deliver consistent, high-quality scripts on time.
Requirements
Strong passion and knowledge of Bollywood films, actors, directors, and movie history.
Excellent Hindi writing skills with natural storytelling ability.
Experience writing short-form content (YouTube scripts, Reels, Shorts) is a plus.
Ability to simplify complex stories into engaging 1-minute narratives.
Creativity to craft hooks, emotional beats, and high-retention content.
Understanding of what works on YouTube Shorts.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience as a scriptwriter, copywriter, storyteller, or content creator.
Ability to work independently and generate fresh Bollywood-focused ideas regularly.
Awareness of social media trends, pacing, and audience engagement.
Salary
20,000 25,000 per month (based on skills & experience)
