Position Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

· Administration of all OSI PI services including PI Vision, PI Data Link, PI Analytics, and Asset Framework

· Develop Asset Framework modules and hierarchies with a focus on automation and scalability

· Be given a business problem that lacks detail and figure out how to solve it then execute

· Support the Integrated Production Excellence and Operations Engineering teams during Process troubleshooting by developing the required screens to perform the required Engineering analysis

· Support Artificial Intelligence / Advanced Analytics development for Integrated Production Excellence and help provide technical support to transform data to information and information to insights for real time optimization

· Maintenance of PI Historian and other infrastructure components to ensure customer's Real Time system data integrity is secure and accessible at all time

· Document scope of PI projects, coordinate with vendors, perform vendor evaluation and selection, and monitor vendor performance

· Develop OSI PI Vision screens and institute best practices

· Develop calculated tags, alerts, and event frames

· Perform system integrations of PI tags (to or from systems)

· Develop Corporate PI screens to aggregate Production data at a Corporate level as each new plant comes online.

· Provide in-depth insights into strategies for installing, maintaining, organizing, and expanding our real-time capabilities

· Troubleshoot and support break-fixes or issues with PI tags displaying the correct values

· Analyze and optimize compression rates for pi tag transfers.

· Maintaining PI backups (it has been automated this with task scheduler, but need to make sure it is working properly)

· Maintain Information management servers on process control network

· Monitoring logs for errors and issues with PI system (PI and windows Log everything)

· Manage PI data Archives

· Manage and troubleshoot connections/threads overwhelming server resources

· Clean up bad and stale tags

· Installation / configuration / monitoring of PI-System servers, interfaces & user tools

· PI-System tag creation / monitoring / maintenance

· Monitoring / maintenance of PI-System security & deployment of patches

· PI-System performance optimization, monitoring system health (CPU, RAM, HD space)

· Documenting procedures and best practices

Job Qualifications

· Minimum 6+ years of Mfg. Automation experience, applications / software support.

· Minimum 5 years' experience with Windows/Linux system administration

· 3+ years in OSI PI administration and OSI – PI stack usage.

· Proficient in PI Vision development, PI Data Link development, Asset Framework hierarchy builds, conditional alerting, and PI Analytics.

· Proficient in integrating data sources with OSI PI Data Archive.

· Experience in leading workshops with several stakeholders.

· Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, with strong critical thinking and attention to detail.

· Strong work ethic with ability to effectively prioritize, meet deadlines, adapt to changing priorities and business needs, and succeed in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent attention to detail and the ability to efficiently summarize and prioritize information.
