Deputy Engineer

Job Title: Deputy Engineer - Maintenance

Job Responsibilities:

1. Monitor Daily Production Activities: Ensure that daily production targets are met efficiently.
2. Assist in Equipment Handling: Help set up, operate, and maintain beverage filling, packaging, and processing equipment.
3. Follow SOPs and Quality Control: Adhere to standard operating procedures and quality control parameters.
4. Troubleshoot Production Line Issues: Quickly address and resolve production line issues to minimize downtime.
5. Coordinate with Maintenance Team: Work with maintenance teams to schedule preventive and breakdown maintenance.
6. Ensure Quality Standards: Maintain product quality by following GMP and food safety guidelines.
7. Conduct Quality Checks: Perform in-process quality checks and report any deviations.
8. Ensure Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe and compliant production environment, ensuring hygiene and regulatory standards are met.
9. Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with supervisors, operators, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
10. Train Operators and Technicians: Assist in training staff on equipment handling and safety practices.
11. Promote Teamwork and Safety: Cultivate a team-oriented culture focused on safety, accountability, and performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in production coordination and maintenance engineering, preferably within the beverage or food industry.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety regulations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
