Senior Micro Frontend Developer (React/TypeScript + API Integration)
Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Frontend Developer with 5+ years of experience in Micro Frontend architecture using React with TypeScript and strong API integration skills. The ideal candidate will build scalable, maintainable, and modular web applications. Healthcare compliance knowledge (HIPAA/DPDP) is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Micro Frontend Development (60%)

• Design and implement type-safe micro frontend architecture using Module Federation
• Develop reusable, self-contained React components with strict TypeScript typing
• Create shared TypeScript interfaces across micro frontends
• Implement type-safe cross-micro frontend communication patterns
• Establish TypeScript coding standards and best practices
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations when applicable

Backend API Integration (30%)

• Design robust API integration layers with TypeScript
• Create type-safe API clients using Axios, Fetch API, or similar libraries
• Build comprehensive TypeScript interfaces for all API contracts
• Implement API response validation and error handling
• Develop efficient data fetching strategies (caching, pagination, infinite scroll)
• Handle authentication flows and secure data transmission

Architecture & Leadership (10%)

• Define API integration patterns and best practices
• Create shared API client libraries with TypeScript
• Conduct code reviews focusing on integration quality and security
• Mentor team on efficient API consumption patterns

Required Technical Skills
Frontend Expertise

• TypeScript: 4+ years including generics, conditional types, utility types, and type guards
• React with TypeScript: 5+ years with strongly-typed functional components and custom hooks
• Micro Frontend Frameworks: Experience with Module Federation, Single-SPA, or similar
• State Management: Redux Toolkit, Zustand, MobX, or Recoil with TypeScript
• Testing: Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress with TypeScript support
• Build Tools: Webpack 5, Vite, Rollup with TypeScript configurations
• CSS Solutions: CSS-in-JS (Styled Components/Emotion), CSS Modules, Tailwind CSS

API Integration Expertise

• RESTful API Integration: Deep understanding of REST principles
• HTTP Clients: Proficiency with Axios, Fetch API
• Type-Safe API Clients: Creating strongly-typed API clients
• Authentication: OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys, session-based auth
• Error Handling: Comprehensive strategies, retry mechanisms

• Built AI-powered features: Chat interfaces, document processing, or intelligent search
