We are looking for a
Legal Manager
with a strong background in
non-litigation legal work
for the
Affordable Housing / Home Loan / Loan Against Property (LAP)
sector. The role involves
property due diligence, mortgage documentation, and compliance
to support smooth loan disbursements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Property Document Verification:
    Scrutiny of title deeds, sale deeds, 7/12 extracts, property cards, index II, tax receipts, and other property-related documents.
  • Due Diligence:
    Conduct title verification and legal checks to ensure clear, marketable property titles.
  • Documentation:
    Drafting, vetting, and execution of loan agreements, mortgage deeds, and other legal documents.
  • Coordination:
    Liaise with empanelled advocates for legal opinions and property reports.
  • Compliance:
    Ensure adherence to housing finance regulations and company policies.
  • Advisory Support:
    Provide legal inputs to business, credit, and operations teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Law Graduate (LLB).
  • 2-7 years of experience
    in
    Home Loans / LAP / Mortgage / Housing Finance
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    property laws, mortgage documentation, and non-litigation legal work
    .
  • Strong drafting, communication, and analytical skills.
