Assistant Professor (IT)

Position: Assistant Professor – Information Technology

Location: Pune

Qualification: MCA / BCA (Higher qualification such as M.Tech/Ph.D. preferred)

Experience: Relevant teaching/industry experience preferred

Salary Range: ₹60,000 – ₹80,000 per month

Gender Preference: Both (Male/Female)

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant Professor in Information Technology to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong subject expertise, effective teaching skills, and a passion for guiding students in both theoretical and practical aspects of IT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions in IT-related subjects.
  • Prepare academic materials, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Guide students in projects, research work, and internships.
  • Conduct innovative teaching practices to engage students.
  • Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Engage in academic research, publications, and conferences.
  • Contribute to departmental activities, events, and administrative tasks.
  • Mentor students for career guidance and higher studies.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of IT concepts (programming, databases, networking, cloud, AI/ML, etc.).
  • Proficiency in modern teaching methodologies and technology tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Research orientation with the ability to publish and guide projects.
  • Team player with leadership and mentoring qualities.
