Job Title: Hadoop Admin

Experience: 5+ Years

Employment Type: Contract Duration: 6 Months (Extendable)

Location: Kolkata / Possible of Remote (Shift requested from 3 PM till 11 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Hadoop clusters, ensuring high availability and performance.
Manage and monitor Hadoop ecosystem components, including HDFS, YARN, Hive, Impala, and other related technologies.
Oversee the integration of data from Oracle Flexcube and other source systems into the Cloudera Data Platform.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Hadoop infrastructure and applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data workflows and processes.
Implement and manage data backup and disaster recovery plans.
Develop and maintain documentation related to Hadoop administration processes and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
years of experience in Hadoop administration, preferably in the banking sector.
Strong knowledge of Oracle Flexcube, Cloudera Data Platform, Hadoop, Hive, and Impala.
Proven experience in managing and optimizing Hadoop clusters.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certification in Hadoop administration or related fields is a plus.
