To contribute to the development of world-class infrastructure, we are looking for a Steel Bridge Engineer to join our team. We are around 50 team members working alongside our colleagues from various COWI offices including Denmark, UK, Singapore, Norway, Sweden, North America, and South Korea. We co-create some of the most prestigious and innovative projects with our customers.
On a day-to-day basis, you will:
- Develop designs through your technical expertise
- Guiding junior engineers in the project team with technical queries
- Liaise with COWI engineers across the Globe on project tasks as well as other developmental and automation needs
- Complete assigned project tasks on agreed quality, time, and budget
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of work activities executed as agreed with the project team
- Ensure compliance with standards set in the project and adhere to COWI quality procedures

Furthermore, you should have:
- Master's/bachelor's degree in civil engineering with 5-10 years of experience in steel and steel-concrete composite bridge design.
- Strong understanding of engineering design principles of steel structures and steel detailing practices.
- Proficiency in FEM software like SOFISTIK, LUSAS.
- Experience with international codes like Eurocode.
- Confident in working in an international setting.
- Very good communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with basic knowledge of Bentley MicroStation, AutoCAD, or Tekla.
