Job description: Module Lead – DevOps & Infrastructure
Location: Yelahanka, Bangalore

About The Gig

We're looking for a Module Lead – DevOps who can architect and maintain high-availability infrastructure that powers our entire product ecosystem — from business applications (Website, DMS, Mobile App) to the Connected Vehicle & Data Platform.
The ideal candidate will ensure zero-downtime deployments, scalable CI/CD, and fault-tolerant systems across our , data engineering, and analytics workloads.

What You'll Do

  • Design and maintain production-grade infrastructure on GCP (Kubernetes, GCS, Pub/Sub, DataProc, Composer).
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Jenkins) for , Spark, and Flink services.
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Helm; enforce environment consistency.
  • Drive observability and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Cloud Monitoring — aim for 99.9% uptime.
  • Automate scaling, deployment, and recovery for Kafka, Pinot, Redis, and other critical clusters.
  • Set up disaster recovery, backup, and failover mechanisms for high-volume data pipelines.
  • Manage security, access control, and secret management (IAM, KMS, Vault).
  • Collaborate with backend, data, and platform teams to optimize cost, performance, and resilience.
  • Mentor DevOps engineers, conduct post-mortems, and continuously improve system reliability.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience managing large-scale production systems with high availability requirements.
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals, networking, and autoscaling.
  • Hands-on expertise with Kafka & data streaming infra operations.
  • Experience automating end-to-end delivery pipelines for multiple teams.
  • Strong leadership and communication to guide DevOps practices org-wide.

Scope of Work

  • Maintain 24×7 uptime for mission-critical services:

  • Business platforms: Website, DMS, Mobile App backends

  • Data platforms: Telematics pipelines (Spark / Flink / Kafka / GCS)

  • Analytics systems: Pinot, ClickHouse, and dashboards

  • Own cluster lifecycle, cost optimization, scaling strategies, and cross-region reliability
