Job Type: Permanent 

Job Responsibilities 

• Design and implement advanced functions of AWS security, governance, and compliance

• Provide second level support for issues with respect to compute, network, and storage on AWS

• Strong understanding of features and capabilities of the AWS Cloud Platform (Security, Firewalls, Route 53 (DNS), CloudFront (CDN) and Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), bucket storage using S3, Relational Database Service (RDS), Hadoop clusters, IAM, SQS (simple queuing), SNS (notifications), Kubernetes. 

• Exposure to cloud managed services and microservices like Function as a Service, Containers, and managed databases (Serverless (Fargate), AWS Sagemaker,EKS, Terraform, AWS Organizations (Control Tower), AWS SSO, Accounts Management, ECR, AWS CodeArtifact)

• Strong programming skills experience in Webhook and API development using , Ruby, Python, Shell, and PowerShell

• DevOps experience with S3 backup, Glacier, Security.

• Designing Solutions in AWS as per project specifications and needs

• Drive architecture and technical discussion to lead cloud security, privacy, and compliance decisions scale, performance, agility, HA/DR considerations

• Configure and manage customer AWS cloud environment

• Ability to analyze systems and identify problems migrating to AWS cloud

• Work with clients to ensure smooth and successful implementation, delivery, and deployment of complex solutions

Desired Skills

• Architecting and designing solutions that meet the functional and non-functional requirements

• Create and review architecture and solution design artifacts

• Provide technical direction to one or more cloud engineers addressing a common goal.

• Ensure suitable sizing of solutions, technology fit, and DR are assessed and accounted for.

• Keep abreast of emerging technology/industry trends in the cloud and define new patterns and standards as required.

• Drive, Plan and Develop blueprints and deliverables that help customers in advancing their AWS Cloud capabilities, involving both new solutions and migration of existing solutions

• Collaborate and guide other team members to design and develop end-to-end processes aligning with the defined architecture.

• Regularly improve processes ensuring that high-quality information is delivered, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the AWS architecture

• Experience in migrations with multiple CSP's (Azure, AWS, GCP)

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Science and ten+ years of experience in software engineering. At least four years of experience in a role in DevOps Engineering & AWS Solutions Architect 

• Must demonstrate ability to write code & construct basic application build pipeline

• Experience working in Agile teams and knowledge of Agile development & release practices. Experience supporting a team with DevOps in an Enterprise Agile framework (SAFe, LeSS, DAD, Enterprise Scrum, Nexus, etc.).

• Experience as a leading member of a web or mobile application delivery team and/or as a lead pipeline architect.

• Experience building and deploying infrastructure as code (IaC).

• Experience in the healthcare & retail industries
